Originated by Korean potters in the late 16th century. The porcelain ware is well-known for its exquisite blue cobalt painting. Especially, the most typical design is 'Karako' (or Chinese Children) in 'gosu' (or natural cobalt). Approx. 35 potteries engage in porcelain production.
