‘Kasama Geijitsu-no-mori Park’ (Kasama)!
Kasama-Yaki is very famous as a pottery production center in Kanto area near Tokyo. It began in the middle of the Edo period. It was designated as traditional craft products by the Japanese government on 1922/1/8.
There are many interesting spots like potters' studios and galleries in Kasama City. In addition, ‘Kasama Geijitsu-no-mori Parak’ is highly recommended to visit on which there are ‘Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum’ and ‘Craft Hills Kasama’ to experience Kasama-Yaki’s history and exhibitions.
