Located at Aichi Prefecture. Originated in the 12th century (Heian period). The product line is mainly composed of traditional items including ones for tea ceremony use, vases, ornaments, red pots of Iron-rich clay, etc. Tokoname-Yaki is one of the Old Six Kilns. Approx. 261 potteries engage in pottery production.
