Located at Saga Prefecture. Originated by Korean potters in the 16th century. The teabowls and vessels produced here were very well-accepted in the tea ceremony. The ware is characterized by the natural clay color along with the simple and vivid paintings of plants, flowers and birds. Approx. 69 potters engage in pottery production.
